تمثال الكا الأسود من مقتنيات توت عنخ آمون

 The "Black Ka" statue from Tutankhamun's collection

Made of wood, the body was painted with tar, and the uniform was gilded and inlaid with bronze. It was found in the famous tomb of Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings.

The statue shows the king standing with his left foot in front of his right, holding in his right hand a suppressed staff whose head is “pear-shaped,” and in the left hand there is a staff under his hand like a lotus flower.

The king wears a headdress known as a khat, leaving his ears exposed and a cobra on his forehead for protection from enemies and evil people. The face here is without a beard, and the eyes are inlaid with bronze and the eyebrows with gold.

The belt clasp contains the crown name of the owner of the form of Ra, and the kilt bears the inscription “Osir-neb-Khebru-Ra,” meaning the Lord of the Two Lands.

On the king's chest is a gilded waistcoat and a wide chain. Gilded bracelets also adorn the arms, and the slippers are also made of gilded bronze.

The statue shows influence from the Amarna school of art, and this appears in the prominent belly, thin legs, pierced ears, and black color of the body to evoke the Osirian ability to resurrect and live.

مصنوع من الخشب وقد طلى الجسد بالقار والزى مذهب ومطعم بالبرونز وقد عثر عليه بالمقبرة الشهيرة لتوت عنخ آمون بوادى الملوك. 

التمثال يبرز الملك واقفا مقدما قدمه اليسرى على اليمنى ويقبض بيده اليمنى على عصا مقمعة رأسها "كمثرية الشكل" وفى اليد اليسرى عصا تحت يده كزهرة اللوتس.

يرتدى الملك غطاء الرأس المعروف باسم "الخات" تاركا اذنه مكشوفه والكوبرا على الجبهة للحماية من الأعداء والأشرار. الوجه هنا بدون لحية كما أن العينين مطعمتان من البرونز والحاجبين من الذهب.

يحتوى قفل الحزام على الاسم التاجى صاحب هيئة رع كما أن النقبة تحمل نقش "اوزير نب خبرو رع" أى سيد الأرضين.

على صدر الملك صدرية مذهبة وسلسلة عريضة كما يزين الذراعين أساور مذهبه والنعال أيضا من البرونز المذهب.

يظهر التمثال تأثرا بمدرسة فن العمارنة ويبدو هذا فى البطن البارز والسيقان الرفيعة والأذان المثقوبة واللون الأسود للجسد لاستحضار القدرة الأوزيرية فى البعث والحياة ️🇪🇬
